Once I had the food table set up, and the kids table, I felt like there one was thing missing and that was on the front of the main table. I was using a white tablecloth which tied into all the little cloud details I brought in, like the cupcake toppers, and paper cutouts on the snack cups. The tablecloth needed a little color as well so I made a bright ribbon garland to hang on the front. Here is how I did it and the supplies you’ll need:
- Assorted sizes, patterns & colors of ribbon
- Glue Gun
- Using the widest sized ribbon, cut a piece equal to the length around the outside of your table. I was using a 4 foot table so I cut mine to cover the front and two sides.
- Cut all your other ribbon into strips of different lengths.
- Add a drop of hot glue and start to glue your strips of ribbon onto the back of the wide ribbon. I found it easiest to pin the wide ribbon to my tablecloth first and then glue the strips while it was on there so I could see how it looked while I was working. I started with the wider sized ribbon strips first and then filled in using the smaller strips. In the end, I only had enough ribbon to cover the front so I left the sides blank.
