Rainbow Place Setting

When setting up the main table, I knew I wanted to have all the Re-Play products set out because they are so bright & colorful but I also wanted to have a cute little kids table for them to sit at and eat. I came up with the idea of making an interactive table with place settings. This way the kids could pick which color tableware they wanted and then try to match up where each piece went on their place settings. Here is how I made them:

Rainbow Place Setting

Ingredients

  • Rainbow colored cardstock
  • Replay plate, cup, snack cup & silverware
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Tape (optional)

Instructions

  1. Trace the outline of your Re-Play Tableware onto your cardstock. I used the same paper used in the backdrop to keep it consistent. The paper was sized at 12x12 which was perfect to fit all the pieces on one piece. I had a little left over which I used to punch out more circles for the backdrop. For the glitter paper, I had to flip it over and trace on the back.
  2. Cut out your paper place-mats.
  3. Set out your place settings using tape to secure them if needed so they can’t get moved around.

About Jamie

Hi! My name is Jamie with Five Whimsy Lane and I like to make things pretty. Parties especially. Glitter enthusiast...lover of all things chocolate & a partynista. Is that a word? Wifey to one fabulous husband and mother to 3 amazing children, Caleb, Leilani & Olivia who are my main inspiration. What more could a girl ask for? When I'm not scouring Pinterest for hours (I'm working honey, I promise) you can find me digging in my fairy garden, dancing with the kids or cleaning my Dyson. Who wants a dirty vacuum? My love for parties began over 10 years ago when I was planning my sons 1st birthday. I realized I had a huge passion for details (some might call it an obsession). After many years and wonderful birthday memories later Sweet Jelly Parties was born. Children's events and baby showers are our specialty but I'm a lover of all reasons to celebrate. Anniversaries, holidays, graduations, it's a Friday so let's throw a party.....You name it, I'll glitter it. Every once in a while though I like to trade in my juice box for a glass of wine which is why I'm also a Certified Wedding Planner.
