Waffle Cornucopia


Basic ingredients and a little creativity make for a festive breakfast option.

Waffle Cornucopia

Ingredients:

  • Packaged frozen waffle
  • Cream cheese
  • Berries

Preparation:

  1. Toast waffle until just thawed, but not browned or crisp.
  2. Fold edges in, leaving one side open, and creating a cone-like shape. Secure with a toothpick.
  3. Finishing toasting under a broiler with oven rack set to the middle position, or in a toaster oven. Watch carefully and turn over as needed to brown all sides.
  4. Allow to cool slightly and remove toothpick. The waffle should hold it’s shape.
  5. Spread cream cheese in open side and fill with berries.
